Mango SEA
Where Science Education and Art Meet
Mango SEA is all about wildlife conservation through artwork and education. I create watercolour paintings of wildlife, available as prints, cards, homeware products, natural cotton activewear, and educational books and resources. All products are made in Australia using sustainable materials, and from suppliers with sustainability practices in their business ethics and process. Every decision made is with our precious natural environment in mind. Wildlife conservation, one artwork at a time.
What are you offering at the festival?
Mango SEA's artwork is detailed scientific illustration style, mixed with decorative design, highlighting the inherent beauty of our incredible wildlife. As most artwork is ocean-related, it particularly appeals to ocean lovers, divers, snorkelers, rockpool ramblers or those who just love hanging out at the beach. If you love ocean wildlife, then come and find a sea turtle, shark or seadragon artwork of your own, to brighten your home, or wear on your legs, while supporting Australian-made, small business and the environment. And if not for yourself, there are plenty of great gifts for an ocean lover in your life!
You can also participate in a communal activity of writing your promise to the ocean, about what positive step you can take in your daily life to help increase ocean and environmental health. Each note will be added to a display board creating a group artwork for the festival.
I look forward to seeing you there!
What payment form do you accept?
Both cash and eftpos.
How do you align with the festival goals?
Mango SEA is all about the environment and its inhabitants, our life support system. It's about showcasing our wonderful wildlife to foster understanding and care for our planet, leading to a better future for all. Each artwork has an educational message underpinning it, and many conversations happen during artwork viewing or purchasing.
It is hoped that by passing on knowledge, especially to the next generation, it will create the next passionate custodians of our planet. Mango SEA uses natural material packaging and avoids plastic wherever possible in the creation of products, and sources Australian suppliers with similar sustainability ethics.
Where ideal packaging is not available, the material can be reused, recycled or repurposed. With a bit of conscious decision-making, we can all do as much as we can to reduce waste and over-production of goods, especially plastic items. It starts with conversations and awareness.
