The Achieve Sewing Basket
#TheSewingBasket #SustainableSewing
The Sewing Basket - The fabric shops supporting people with disability. The Sewing Basket is a social enterprise of Achieve Australia. At The Sewing Basket, we sell donated fabrics, patterns, patchwork, embroidery materials, knitting and crochet yarn, haberdashery, and more while providing employment for people with disability. We have a team of experienced volunteers from the community and Achieve employees who work alongside the people we support. Our colourful shops give donated fabrics and other products a second life and stop these useful items from going to landfill. We run 4 retail stores across Sydney in Kincumber, Newington, Balmain and Caringbah.
