Unwanted FC

Unwanted FC exists to give pre-loved sporting garments a second life. Since late 2018, the Australian founded brand has been doing this through their obsession with reworking & upcycling. Patterns all serve a functional purpose and can be spotted in the hands of global stars such as the Matildas and the Socceroos.

Repair Workshop, Upcycling service, and Football zone

At the Unwanted FC station, attendees will step into a world where upcycling and rework are the obsession.

A dedicated football zone will feature fun games and activities, giving attendees the chance to win prizes. Alongside this, free repair workshops will kick off every 30 minutes, where participants can learn simple repair skills and walk away with their own mini repair kit.

Unwanted FC will also offer 10 personal repair slots throughout the day, giving attendees the opportunity to bring along a damaged item for the Unwanted FC tailors to carefully revive - from button repair, rips, holes and hemming, we can help (booking link to come).

To round out the experience, Unwanted FC will showcase a collection of its popular reworked pieces, giving attendees a glimpse into the possibilities of giving unwanted garments a new life.

Beyond its own collections, Unwanted FC also offers an upcycling service for anyone looking to transform their own old jerseys. Attendees can bring along an old kit and speak with a member of the Unwanted FC team on site to find out how it could be given a second life - designs and more information can be found here: https://unwantedfc.com/collections/customs
