Achieve Sewing Basket
#achievesewingbasket
At The Sewing Basket, every purchase makes a difference. We sell donated fabrics, patterns, yarns, embroidery and patchwork supplies, haberdashery, and more, while creating valuable employment opportunities for people with disability.
Our friendly team of community volunteers and Achieve employees work alongside the people we support, helping build skills, confidence, and connections. Together, we're giving quality sewing and craft materials a second life and helping reduce landfill waste.
What are you Offering at the Festival?

How do you align with the festival's goals?
The Sewing Basket aligns closely with the sustainability goals of the Sustainable Future Festival by promoting reuse, waste reduction, community participation, and social inclusion. We give donated fabrics, yarns, patterns, haberdashery, and craft supplies a second life, diverting valuable materials from landfill and encouraging a circular economy where resources are reused rather than discarded.
In addition, The Sewing Basket provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability, creating positive social outcomes while fostering community connection through the support of volunteers and Achieve employees. Through sustainability, creativity, and inclusion, we are helping build a more resource-conscious and socially connected future.
