Cercle
Cercle is a reuse service platform making reuse simple, scalable and accessible. We provide the products, infrastructure, washing, logistics and technology needed to replace single-use food and beverage packaging with reusable alternatives. From workplaces and universities to major events and precincts, Cercle helps organisations move beyond single use by making reuse work as an everyday system.
Our reusable cups and food containers are designed to be used again and again, with easy collections through our Drop Pod return system and commercial washing infrastructure. That makes reuse easy.
Our impact beyond waste includes our work as a work integrated social enterprise. We create meaningful employment opportunities for people who face barriers to work, demonstrating how the circular economy can create both environmental and social value.
Cercle directly supports the Sustainable Future Festival’s goal of reducing waste, keeping resources circulating and demonstrating practical sustainability in action.
Rather than simply talking about alternatives to single-use packaging, festival attendees will experience one. Food and beverage vendors will serve into Cercle reusable coffee cups, cold cups and food containers, creating a working circular system across the event.
Used items are returned, collected, commercially washed and prepared to be used again — helping avoid single-use packaging and demonstrating how reuse can work at scale.
The model also demonstrates the broader opportunity of a circular economy. Cercle is a social enterprise that creates meaningful employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work, connecting environmental impact with positive social outcomes.
For us, a sustainable future means designing waste out of the system while creating new opportunities through the transition.
