How do you align with the festival goals?
Regenerative Practices and Environmental Stewardship
SWAMP Central Coast demonstrates sustainability through low impact urban gardening — improving soil health, circular systems, biodiversity, and water resilience. These practices directly align with the festival’s goal of promoting environmentally responsible living and climate resilience.
Local Food Security and Circular Systems
By growing food with the community, for the community and donating produce to local organisations like The Epicentre San Remo and at times CoastHands, SWAMP strengthens local food systems and reduces food waste. This supports the festival’s aim to encourage sustainable consumption and production.
Education and Community Engagement
SWAMP delivers opportunities for school students to visit and also facilitates educational programs and workshops to learn about sustainability, healthy soils, sustainable living, garden to plate, inspiring people of all ages to connect with the environment. This reflects the festival’s focus on education, innovation, and community action for a sustainable future.
