Junkyard Beats
I’m Oded Prior, the founder of Junkyard Beats. Since starting the group in 2015, we’ve performed all across Australia — from major events and theatres to schools and festivals. We’re known for our high-energy rhythm shows that blend drumming, body percussion, dance, junk percussion, circus, and plenty of laughs.
Our family-friendly performances are inspired by everyday life, the streets, and the junkyard — filled with imagination, humour, and a whole lot of rhythm!

Playful, engaging, and perfect for all ages!
does it cost any money?
No charge at all! Just bring your curiosity and get ready to make some noise!
How do you align with the festival goals?
The Musical Garden brings sustainability to life in a fun and interactive way. By using recycled materials and self-made instruments, it demonstrates how everyday items can be reused creatively instead of discarded. It encourages participants of all ages to think differently about waste, inspires mindful consumption, and shows that sustainability can be joyful, hands-on, and accessible to everyone — perfectly reflecting the festival’s mission to promote eco-friendly living.
